Little Baby Learns: Seasons is the ideal early learning set for toddlers. With a board book and 12 shaped play pieces to use inside, it is a fun way to introduce young children to the world around them.

Preschoolers can learn about Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn as they go through the book and find the press-out pieces. Each of the 12 play pieces matches an image on the page and fits securely into the die-cut spaces, but can also be used separately as flash cards. This book encourages fine motor skills and problem-solving, as well as teaching core vocabulary.

The book is attached to a cased board and the pieces enclosed in a clamshell so they can be stored easily making this a great gift to take on the go.

About the author

Roger Priddy is the creator of over two hundred best selling books for young children including Wipe Clean ABC, First 100 Words, and Fuzzy Bee.

When he was at school he couldn't decide between being a patisserie chef or going to art college. On the advice of his father he chose art college and trained as an illustrator before becoming a designer at Usborne Publishing.

Roger's love for children's early learning has led him to create some of the most successful children's non-fiction books, first at Dorling Kindersley (My First Word Book, Incredible Cross Sections and My First Cook Book) before he set up Priddy Books with St. Martins Press in New York where several of his books have sold over a million copies each including First 100 Words, My Big Animal Book and See Touch Feel.

In total he has sold over 150 million books worldwide and his books have been translated into over 30 languages.

He says "It is always rewarding to see a child enjoying and learning something from one of our books, especially the babies when you think it could be the first book they have ever seen.

I am very lucky to have a career where you get to think up fun ways to teach a kid how to write their letters and learn their first words whilst finding out about Dinosaurs at the same time!"

Roger lives in Somerset and has three children, who have given him some of his best ideas for his books.
