Synopsis

KPOP Demon Hunters: The Official Deluxe Junior Novelization is a deluxe junior novel that retells the story of the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters. The story follows Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, members of the world-famous K-pop girl group HUNTR/X. While they are global pop stars by day, they secretly protect the world from dangerous demons. However, they face a new challenge when a rival boy band called the Saja Boys appears — and the boys are actually demons in disguise. This deluxe edition includes a special shiny cover and 16 pages of full-colour images from the film.

The book is written by Jessica Yoon and published by Random House Books for Young Readers as part of the official KPOP Demon Hunters publishing program created in collaboration with Netflix. The novel is based on the film’s screenplay by Danya Jimenez & Hannah McMechan, and Maggie Kang & Chris Appelhans, and serves as the official retelling of the movie in novel form for younger readers.
